No one should have to sleep on the street. Despite this, homelessness is at an all time high in King county, and many of them lost housing after an eviction or utility shut off. The West Seattle Helpline puts a stop to homelessness through rent and utility assistance, bus tickets, and our Clothesline, the largest all-ages clothing bank in Seattle. Just one of our programs stopped 200 families from being evicted and all told we helped over 5,000 of our neighbors last year. Our office is located in the Highpoint area of West Seattle, one of the highest need neighborhoods in King County.
We would like to thank our generous GiveBIG anonymous matching donor, board members, and other donors who are dedicated to putting a stop to homelessness in West Seattle & White Center.
