Vision House provides transitional housing and homelessness prevention services in the Greater Puget Sound area to help struggling families rebuild their lives.

The primary goal is to promote housing stability for families who are homeless or who are on the verge of becoming homeless. In 2016, 81% of Vision House families transitioned successfully to permanent housing and self-sufficiency.

One mom shared her experience, "My daughter and I became homeless when I was laid off from my job and I couldn't pay the rent. We slept outside on the porch of an abandoned house. It was cold and absolutely terrifying. Thankfully, we found Vision House. They gave us a safe place to live, counseling, job training and child care for my daughter. I have successfully graduated from the Vision House program and now have a good job and my own apartment. Thanks to Vision House for giving us a hand up and not just a hand out."

Vision House continues to experience tremendous growth and success in serving homeless families in our community. In 2016, Vision House launched a new homelessness prevention program. And in 2017 we will be constructing our second building in Shoreline, adding ten more housing units, a family resource center and a child care center.
