The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the largest nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding cures and better treatments for people with leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Since 1949, survival rates have doubled, tripled and even quadrupled for some forms of blood cancers. The research funded by LLS has not only led to cutting-edge breakthroughs in new therapies, but the the ability to bring better treatments to more patients faster. LLS was involved in funding 15 of the 18 new drugs approved by the FDA in 2017 for blood cancer patients.

While our reach is felt internationally, our local impact is real with over $2.4 million currently invested in research projects at Fred Hutch. We also provided nearly $1 million in co-pay assistance to patients and families in Washington and Alaska over the past year. LLS is the leading source of free blood cancer information, education and support. Our chapter consistently interacts with patients, families and healthcare professionals in local communities, helping patients navigate their diagnosis and ensuring they have access to quality and affordable care.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society wishes to convey our sincere gratitude to Seattle community leader Seed IP for matching giveBIG donations up to $5000 for the second year in a row. We are so appreciative of Seed IP's continued investment in our mission, and all they do to help create better treatments and outcomes for patients and families. Together, with your gift and Seed IP's generosity - we will be one BIG step closer to creating a world without blood cancers!
