Our target population primarily consists of African American, East African, Hispanic/Latino, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Thai, Lao, Mien, Filipino, Pacific Islander, Somali, Oromo, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Native American, and Mixed Race. Ages range from 8-24.

SafeFutures Youth Center has delivered wraparound case management services involving at-risk and low-income youth of color for nearly 20 years. SafeFutures provides leadership by engaging under-served youth and their families through culturally responsive academic and social support, and other resources available in their communities. SFYC operates under the leadership of an Executive Director and an 10-member Board of Directors, which includes an elected Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. Leadership is provided by an Executive Committee and an Executive Director, charged with daily oversight, program management and fiscal viability.

Through our academic programs, wraparound case management services, youth outreach, and summer employment and training programs, we have the opportunity to change the direction of young people's lives. Our academic and social support help them stay engaged in school and community, and recognize opportunities for a better future.

Your support will allow a diverse community to achieve higher rates of attendance, graduation, and higher education opportunities.
