At the Port Townsend School of Woodworking, our mission is to inspire a life-long passion for craftsmanship through education in woodworking and traditional building trades. The Port Townsend School of Woodworking serves nearly 350 students each year to pass on traditional skills from knowledgeable and committed instructors.

Through a teaching model of integrity, high quality teaching and consistent craftsmanship these diverse students are empowered and emboldened to make life changes.  The school provides a diversity of programming from 2 days to 12 weeks of courses ranging from Cabinet and Furniture Making to Northwest Arts, Carving and Tiny Home construction – providing the tools, knowledge and support to teach students to use their hands to build and in doing so, preserve the art of hand tools.
